Is Donald Trump A Christian?
Being a follower of Jesus Christ in your every day life is the sign of being a Christian. A Christian is literally a “little christ”. A person who seeks God first and foremost, and the things of God’s Kingdom (Matthew 6:33) is a follower of Christ, a Jesus person, a Kingdom person, a Christian. There are really only two types of Christians-
- Cultural Christians
- Committed Christians
Cultural Christians are people who profess to be Christians but do not do much to really show it in their lives. Committed Christians are people who pray all the time, read, the Bible, attend a Bible-believing church, tell people about Jesus all the time, and if they are Spirit-filled pray in the Holy Spirit . When someone says they are a Christian, we can only really know by looking at their daily lives. Committed Christians have fruit in their lives (Matthew 7:20), they have results. People are getting saved, healed, healed, encouraged, changed, and filled with the power of God by these Christians. If you can see God’s hand in a person’s life and them sharing God’s love with others, it’s pretty clear they are a Christian.
Is President Donald Trump A Christian?
Donald Trump is a two term president of the United States. We do not know if he is a Christian exactly because we see a lot of worldly things in his life. His language, his direct attitude, his competitive spirit, and other ‘rough’ areas might make you think that Mr. Trump is not a Christian. However, Mr. Trump has
- not hesitated to identify highly qualified Jesus people to work for him in his cabinet and government.
- fought for the lives of the unborn children by supporting pro-life people who promote having a baby rather than killing it in an abortion
- stood by the Biblical basis of the founding fathers of the United States who built the country based on Christian-values
- participated in multiple prayer sessions of pastors and ministers praying for him as the nation’s leader. He has submitted himself to prayer of committed Jesus people.
- ripped out the sexual deviancy and extensive government corruption pushed by previous US governments and recognized that the US is phenomenally successful due to its core Christian values.
Based on what we have seen of Donald Trump to this point, we are not sure if he is a Christian or not at this time. Looking at his life, we can certainly see that Mr. Trump has stood strong for God’s people and more recently godly values. Like every other person, he is far from perfect but is a very high achiever.
Mr. Trump may not be a committed Christan at this time, but that gives believers all the more reason to pray for his full salvation because in the end, it does not matter what office you hold, your financial worth, or how famous you are or were. In the end, from president to pauper, every person will be judged when they leave their bodies on whether they accepted Jesus or rejected Him. Have you accepted Jesus?
