Do Sickness And Disease Come From God?
Does sickness come from God? It may sound like a crazy question, but there are people who love Jesus that have a preconceived conclusion that sickness and disease come from God or that it is something He wills or allows. If you ask, “Is God good?”, the answer is “God is good”. However it is very clear that there is nothing good about cancer, colds, disabilities, mental healthy issues, allergies, or any other infirmity. Where could a good God get this bad? There is no darkness in Him (1 John 1:5).
Have You Got A DAM Infection?
Many times, we have seen great people die of cancer or some other tragedy and people who have accepted Jesus just accept this as if it’s God’s will. Some believers may outright say that sickness comes from God, but there are too many scriptures (see some here) in the Bible to disprove that.
There are others who believe that God is a healer but God heals if “feels like it” or if it’s His (so called) “plan” or “timing” or something else that tries to put the responsibility on God. This thinking that sickness comes from God, whatever happens to you is God’s will, and poverty is next to ‘godliness’ are what is called Dark Ages Mentality (DAM), DAM was a trick of charlatans pretending to be ‘Christian’ to control people and get money or other resources out of people who didnt know the Word (you’ve seen some of their buildings left over in Europe). It is of demonic origin, as the forces of hell do not want to see Christians healthy, blessed, or displaying God’s goodness to the world around them. If people see Christians blessed, strong, healthy and living long, more people will want that same relationship with God. The enemy would not have that and has used DAM to cut believer’s lives short.
Unfortunately, DAM has infected many churches and many people have died before they should, as they have just accepted the doctor’s prognosis as an unchangeable situation. Hosea 4:6 says some of God’s people are destroyed for lack of knowledge of God. We must all rid the church of Dark Ages Mentality, that starts with each person by the renewing of our mind as we’re directed in Romans 12:2 according to the Word of God. We build our faith by God’s Word (Romans 10:17) and can withstand and overcome ANY sickness, disease, disorder, or spiritual attack.
Where Does Sickness And Disease Come From?
There are just two places that sickness and disease originates from.
1) The devil and the forces of hell trying to kill you and cut your life short
2) The environment where a cold or virus is transferred via the air, touch or personal contact, or even a contaminated environment caused by things done by mankind.
The good news is that you can stand against sickness and disease whether it’s demonic attack trying to cut your life short, or a contaminated environment you were exposed to.
Long, Strong, And Abundant
No matter what sickness or disease you’ve got. No matter what the doctors have told you. Regardless of how you feel. If you stand on the Word of God and build your faith you WILL overcome whatever comes your way. Don’t let the enemy cut your life short. In Psalm 91:16, you are promised that God will satisfy you with long life. Jesus said in John 10:10 that the enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy you and what you have. But the good news is He promised you life, and that life is a life of abundance (John 10:10. Don’t let the circumstances or the enemy cut your life short..
