Does God Want To Heal You?
We know from Hebrews 11:6 that a believer having faith is the only way to please God. The good news is that He will reward you as well. One thing you will discover as you read the Word is that salvation and healing are what the Lord Jesus won for us. A simple read of Isaiah 53:3-5 makes it clear that the Messiah would come to take our sicknesses and our pains. Hallelujah! That means that you can fight sickness and disease when it tries to attack you.
Salvation and Health Come Together
Jesus made us right with God through His death and resurrection from the dead. Those who believe and have a relationship with God have eternal life. Those who do not know God do not. Salvation comes to all those who grab it. In the same health and healing comes to those who believe and grab it personally.
Does God Want To Heal Me?
Yes! God wants you healed and healthy 100% of the time. God doesn’t want or make people sick. Sometimes people don’t get their healing immediately and allow doubt to come in.
Many times, that doubt is from the enemy who wants to kill you, steal from you, and destroy you (John 10:10). If you are fighting sickness or disease, people will sometimes fall into unbelief. You MUST rebuke sickness and disease in Jesus’ Name. Then you must believe that you’ve got it by faith.
If you want to confirm that Jesus wants you healed. Just look at what He tells people. In Matthew 8:1-3 (NLT), the Bible says,
Large crowds followed Jesus as he came down the mountainside. Suddenly, a man with leprosy approached him and knelt before him. “Lord,” the man said, “if you are willing, you can heal me and make me clean.”
Jesus reached out and touched him. “I am willing,” he said. “Be healed!” And instantly the leprosy disappeared.
Jesus is willing. God wants you well. Don’t let the forces of hell take you down. Stand up and fight the good fight of faith. You will always win with God and faith.
