Does The Holy Spirit Ever Leave A Believer?
God is the Creator of the Universe, the Almighty, nothing can hold a light to Him. He is the only thing you can truly call “AWESOME”.
The Earth is much bigger than any human being, however it is said the sun God created is 70 times larger than the planet we live on. He is awesome. God is three, yet He is one (triune or the trinity). He is the Father, He is Jesus the Son, and He is the Holy Spirit. John 1:1 tell us that ‘the Word’, Jesus was in the beginning with God. Genesis 1:2 tells us that the Holy Spirit was hovering over the face of the waters in Creation. We God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit were all at Creation and have no beginning or end.
Jesus came as a man to redeem us from the trouble Adam and Eve caused for all mankind. Our Master Jesus reclaimed the authority God had originally given to His people. After the perfect man Jesus Christ was put to death, He went to hell in our stead. In Luke 24:50-53, the Lord Jesus ascended to heaven as He repeatedly promised He had to do for the Holy Spirit to come (John 14:15-17, John 16:7). Again, Jesus had to leave so that the Holy Spirit could come. Jesus is in God’s Heaven right now but His return is promised in 1 Thessalonians 4:16,17. Right now, God on the Earth is the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is God.
Does The Holy Spirit Leave You?
No, the Holy Spirit does not leave you. However, Spirit-filled believers know that if you get into sin you can lose your connection with the Holy Spirit that you must correct immediately. 1 John 1:8,9 tells believers to immediately confess their sin and get right with God. If you are off, follow and correct now.
When you accept Jesus, you have been led, directed, drawn and inspired by the Holy Spirit to come into God’s Kingdom(John 6:44, John 16:13-14, John 15:26, 1 John 5:6). It is one thing to know Jesus, but as we know from Acts 2, we must be baptized in the Holy Spirit. Salvation alone is not all of God’s plan.
Remember the Holy Spirit is God. He is omnipresent, omnipotent, all-knowing, all-powerful. He is God so He talks to everyone at the same time. He is here on Earth to fellowship with you, guide you, direct you, encourage you.
If you feel free distant from God, it’s time to get strong in God. Here are 5 things every Christian must do daily.
Do you have God’s power in your daily life?
