What Is The Unforgivable Sin? Have I Committed the Unpardonable Sin?

Unforgivable-sinThe Bible talks about the unforgivable sin?  Have I committed it?  What is it?
We are told in the Bible that we are saved by grace.  What is that grace?  Grace is the fact that God wants to have a relationship with you but we are imperfect.  If you want to appear before the king of a country, you must know someone to get you that audience with the ruler.  Without a connection you cannot appear before that king.  It is the same with God, but in God’s case, He is so pure and perfect we would melt if we tried to appear before Him in our imperfection and sin.  We have no way to get to God except that God sent His Son Jesus to die on our behalf.  Jesus is our connection into God’s Kingdom.
Jesus died for our sins.  Are there any sins that can not be forgiven or pardoned?
Yes! In Mark 3:28-30, we see that there is actually an unforgivable sin.  There is a sin that God will not forgive a human being of. We see in Mark 3:29 that this sin is the sin against the Holy Spirit.  How do we sin against the Holy Spirit?  It’s clear in Mar, 3:29 as the Word says, those who blaspheme against the Holy Spirit are subject to eternal condemnation.
We see that the unforgivable, the unpardonable, sin is to blaspheme against the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is God on this Earth and our connection to Heaven.  For someone to receive Jesus, they are drawn by the Holy Spirit.  We are told in John 14:17 that the Holy Spirit lives here on the earth.  We are told in John 6:44 that to be saved, we have to believe in Jesus and be drawn to Him.  The Holy Spirit draws people to the Father.  Rejecting Jesus as the Son of God and not accepting the work He did to make you right is the unforgivable sin.
The blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is to deny or reject the drawing of the Holy Spirit that brings you to God.  The Holy Spirit is also called the Spirit of Truth.  He reveals the truth to all of us, that we must be saved.  When we reject Jesus, we are blaspheming the Holy Spirit.  Rejecting the drawing of the Holy Spirit means that you will forever be damned to separation from God.  The unforgivable sin is to reject Jesus as the Holy Spirit reveals Him to you.  If you work against God’s Kingdom, you are working against the Spirit.  That’s not a good idea.
In Matthew 12:31-32, the Pharisees (religious leaders of that generation) slandered the Holy Spirit by knowledgeably attributing Jesus’ miracles and teaching to the enemy (the devil and the forces of hell), thus committing the “unpardonable sin.” Their sin was not an act of impulse or ignorance, but the result of a continued and willful rejection of the truth concerning Jesus.  Jesus is the only way to God.
Have I Committed the Unpardonable Sin?
We’ve heard this question many times.  If you have to ask, you have likely not committed this error that has eternal consequences.  Why?  You’ve not rejected the Holy Spirit and are concerned as you want to serve in God’s Kingdom.
God loves you so much!  If you don’t know Him, here’s how you can.  If you do know Him but you are not seeing the power of God in your life, you’ve either got sin in your life that you’ve got to deal with, or you need the Baptism of the Holy Spirit or maybe both.  Get baptized in the Holy Spirit now.
