The Bible is really clear that God answers prayer. Mark 11:22-25 gives you an exact on prospective prayer. In fact it says,
24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them. Mark 11:24 NKJV

Five (5) Reasons Why Your Prayers Are Not Answered
If you are praying and not getting answers to your prayers then there is an issue. Many people will blame God for their prayers not being answered. However, the issue it is not God, it is something else that you must determine. When you read your Bible, the Holy Spirit will show you that there are five simple reasons why prayers do not seem to be answered. The five reasons are
- You do not have faith
- You are in sin
- Relationships- You are in strife with your spouse
- Bad motives
- You did not notice the response
You Must Have Faith
The key to answered prayer is faith. Hebrews 11:1 tells us that faith is good expectation. When you know God, you know you have good things coming to you. God is a rewarder of those who acknowledge Him and diligently seek His face (Hebrews 11;6). God rewards those who consistently seek Him.
You Must Blow Out Sin In Your Life
Sin is a blessing blocker in your daily life. Sin separates us from God. The Lord Jesus makes us right with God. Even as a Christian, people can have sin in their lives. In 2 Corinthians 5:21, God’s people become righteousness through the work of Christ Jesus. That does not mean that believers cannot fall into sin. We must protect our hearts (spirit/soul) from the attacks of the enemy. The enemy (demons) want to get us in sin so they can pull us away from God and the salvation He has given us. Having sin in your life is one reason for not having your prayers answered.
Bad Relationships Lead to Unanswered Prayer
Back to Mark 11:25, we see that when we are praying the Holy Spirit will talk to us. If someone comes to mind when you are praying you need to forgive them. If you forgive others, God will forgive you. The most important relationship you have besides knowing God is with your spouse. If you have strife at home, you may have strife in other relationships as well. This is why prayer is so important that we have a relationship with the Most High God, through Christ Jesus the Anointed Son Of God. If you have a great relationship with the loving almighty God, there is nothing that can stop you.
If your prayers are not getting answered, do not give up on God. Go after God, because He loves you and has an amazing plan for you.
GAAP
God answers prayer (GAP( is even deeper than that. You can say, God always answers prayer (GAAP). In fact, James 5:16 says that the effective prayer of godly people accomplishes great things. It is time to get out there and do great things in the powerful Name of JESUS!
